Right now, the people best equipped to help deafened people are in the hands of people who care enough to give them a second chance – people like you.
ALDAcon 2009 gives you an excellent opportunity to showcase products and services that enhance communication and independence for people with hearing loss. For many, ALDAcon provides the first opportunity to see your products in person or to talk with a knowledgeable representative. Exhibits at ALDAcon 2009 will be open from 10:30 AM Thursday (the 15th) until noon on Saturday (the 17th). Attendees will frequently travel through the exhibit area as they move to and from registration, workshops, and the silent auction area. Most will share information and materials from the conference with others back home.

The Association of Late-Deafened Adults is holding its 21st International Conference (ALDAcon) at the Doubletree Hotel in Seattle, Washington on October 14 – Oct 18, 2009, and we invite you to participate. Attached is a sponsor and exhibit packet for your review. The conference opens with a reception on Wednesday evening (the 14th) and closes with a brunch on Sunday morning (the 18th). We anticipate 150-250 attendees. Our membership is diverse in age at onset of hearing loss, degree of hearing loss, and preferred mode of communication.In addition to exhibiting your products, you have other opportunities for publicity. Vendors can sponsor refreshment breaks in the exhibit area to increase visibility of their company name and product/service line. ALDAcon 2009 staff can place your promotional material in each attendee’s registration bag or on an information table in the exhibit area. You can advertise in our program book, which attendees use as a reference after they return home. Details and prices for these services are on the application form in the packet.
Given enough support, we can beat the odds of isolation and draw sound connections for those with hearing loss, their families and those who support the empowerment of deafened people.
